From the time we are born we hope to have a long life, free from pain, illness or disability in the pursuit of happiness.
Some choices in our western lifestyle in particular often compromises our hopes. The foods we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe, the sun we see little of, the exercise we may not have, the unhappy relationships we may endure and a lack of passion may in one way or the other cause our hopes to fade.
The human body has an amazing resilience in being able to recover from the brink of disaster when given a chance.
This chance can be given the body by undertaking a juice cleanse.
The juice cleanse program begins with a short meeting, either one on one or maybe in a group or even remotely, by phone, skype, etc. The understandings and teachings that underlie the program are put forward and discussed in detail. This gives an insight into the 'why' you would undertake a juice cleanse.
The cleansing program itself begins with a brief questionnaire to better understand your current state of health.
Although the program has a strong sense of purpose, it is essentially a fun, enjoyable and sustainable experience. You may follow the program as part of your normal daily routine at home and work, or you may want to take a holiday, go to an exotic resort, go to the sea, go to the mountains, visit a farm and etc.
Following the questionnaire and an assessment, a lead in program is implemented which may take from a week to a month or more with the aim of gently easing you into the juice cleanse.
This is followed by the cleanse which lasts for 21 days in which time you make and drink a special blend of juice each day.
During this time most people find among other things that their weight drops about ten percent (joy), their energy levels increase significantly (fun), and illnesses may show signs of remitting.
From day 21 to day 35 you are then guided from a juice only diet into a long term sustainable lifestyle that may well be considerably different to that which you were following prior to the cleanse, if you so choose.
During the program you are supported by being able to phone either in the morning or the evening and also by email and skype.
As before, the program is designed to be fun, enjoyable and sustainable. You can revisit it at any time and repeat what you have learned.
Some people find that they can follow a new lifestyle rigorously, for others it may well be desirable, however, due to other concerns a modified plan may be better in the short term.
